He is an author and a bold, high adrenaline speaker. Ryan Dobson knows his purpose—and loves every minute of it. He passionately pursues his calling in Christ: using every opportunity to call people out of the moral relativism of today's society and into “the ultimate adventure” of following Christ.

His books include: Be Intolerant: Because Some Things Are Just Stupid (2003); To Die For: The Dangerous Truth about Following Christ (2004); To Live For: Why Did You Think You Were Here? (2007); Wrecked: What God Can Do When Things Crash and Burn (2008); Humanitarian Jesus: Social Justice and the Cross by Christian Buckley and Ryan Dobson (2010), and his new book, Wanting to Believe: Faith, Family, and Finding an Exceptional Life (B&H Books) released September 9, 2014.

Ryan Dobson grew up in the spotlight as the son of America’s foremost family expert, author and radio broadcasting hall of famer Dr. James Dobson. While many would wilt under these circumstances, Ryan trusted the Lord to guide him. After graduating from Biola University, he combined his natural talent and passion for public speaking with high-energy live presentations to break through the noise in today’s culture. Ryan continues to travel the globe sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, defending life, and giving much needed encouragement and advice to couples and parents.

In 2006, Ryan launched his own broadcast with the purpose of “building passion and identity in Christ followers.” Ryan’s live broadcast developed a global audience reaching more than 250,000 listeners in 113 countries each month, challenging them in how they see, hear, and think about life and their interaction with culture.

Ryan has appeared on Fox News, Huckabee, The Kevin McCullough Show and other media outlets. He is also the recipient of the 2011 IMPACT Award. Ryan lives in Colorado with his wife, two children, two dogs, and seven chickens. Connect with Ryan at jamesryandobson.com.
